📄 1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using NextRank ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Law Enforcement Solutions ("we," "us," or "our").

These terms incorporate Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

💳 2. Subscription & In-App Purchases

Auto-renewal disclosure: Your NextRank Pro subscription will automatically renew at the end of each monthly period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged upon purchase confirmation and again at the start of each renewal period. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.

All billing, pricing, and payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Price is listed in USD and may vary by region as shown in the App Store.

✅ 3. Permitted Use

NextRank grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial Army promotion board preparation. You may:

• Use all features included in your subscription tier (free or Pro)
• Access study questions, practice tests, and AI Board simulation sessions
• Use the Land Nav, Uniform Checker, and Scope Ruler features for personal preparation

🚫 4. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Reproduce, redistribute, or resell any content from the App
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App or its source code
• Use the App to create competing products or services
• Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or in-app purchase protections
• Use the AI Board feature to submit fraudulent, harmful, or unlawful content
• Represent AI-generated board responses as official Army guidance or policy

🤖 5. AI Board Feature

The AI Promotion Board feature provides simulated promotion board Q&A using an AI language model. By using this feature, you acknowledge:

• Responses are AI-generated simulations and do not represent official Army evaluations, policy, or guidance
• The AI may make factual errors — always verify information against current official Army publications (AR 670-1, FM 7-22, DA Pam 600-25, etc.)
• NextRank does not guarantee that use of this feature will improve your promotion board performance or result in promotion
• Your typed inputs during sessions are transmitted to a secure proxy server to generate responses — see our Privacy Policy for details
• AI Board question allowances reset monthly and are non-transferable

⚠️ 6. Content Disclaimer

NextRank content — including study questions, regulation references, uniform guidance, and land navigation material — is derived from publicly available U.S. Army regulations and field manuals. We make every effort to keep content accurate and current, but:

• Army regulations change. We cannot guarantee all content reflects the most current version of every publication.
• Content is provided for study and preparation purposes only. It does not constitute official military guidance, legal advice, or departmental instruction.
• Users are responsible for consulting current official publications and following their chain of command's guidance.
• NextRank does not guarantee promotion board results.

Official Army publications are available at armypubs.army.mil.

🛡️ 7. Device Permissions

Certain features require device permissions (camera, motion, compass). These are used solely for the feature that requests them and no data is stored or transmitted. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You may revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

🔗 8. Third-Party Services

NextRank uses Apple's StoreKit for subscription management and a secure AI proxy server for the AI Board feature. Your use of these features is subject to Apple's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services beyond our control.

⚖️ 9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Law Enforcement Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of promotion opportunity, loss of data, or loss of military career benefits, arising from your use of NextRank.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

🔄 10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the App and cancel any active subscription.

📍 11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Law Enforcement Solutions operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the applicable courts of that jurisdiction.

🔒 12. Privacy Policy

Your use of NextRank is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
